Gurunathar’s Divine Message Ashwini Pooja 26-10-2007
Here I asked a special question: “Both days the Jayanthi Day and Aradhana Day are celebrated. Which is more important?” As we know what has no beginning has no end and what has no end has no beginning. This is the Law of Nature. So we feel both are important. Still the birthday of a human being is more important, because a man has to be born and go through several births before attaining Mukthi. The Jayanthi day or birthday is more important and the blessings bestowed on that day are extremely beneficial.
The Aradhana day commemorates the achievement of Mukthi. People in general and devotees praise not only those who have reached Mukthi but also their achievements. I make it clear that the birthday which comes before the Mukthi day is more important. Though as an achievement Mukthi seems greater, without birth there can be no Mukthi.
